PVJFF to screen ‘Fill the Void’ on March 27 at MHC

The Pioneer Valley Jewish Film Festival (pvjff.org) includes a 7:00pm screening in South Hadley on Thursday, March 27. Fill the Void (90 min, English subtitles) follows life among an ultra-Orthadox Jewish community in Tel Aviv following the death of a Rabbi’s daughter in childbirth. Dr. Lawrence Fine, Professor of Religion and Jewish Studies at MHC, will lead a post-screening discussion.

The film will be shown at Gamble Auditorium, Art Building, Mount Holyoke College. Admission is $9; $7 for students/seniors.

The screening is co-sponsored by the Mount Holyoke College Jewish Studies Department and Film Studies Program.

   This program is supported in part by a grant from the 
South Hadley Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported 
by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
