July 13 – Jay Mankita is an internationally acclaimed songwriter, guitarist, and recording artist from Amherst. He tours his music for children and adults in a veggie oil-powered van.
July 20 – Miss Leticia (Leticia Davies) brings us a high energy, multi-lingual music and movement performance. A regular Amherst performer and teacher, she has played music with children of all ages for over 10 years.
July 27 – Roger Tincknell is a two-time Parents’ Choice Award-winning musician who has been performing for children and adults for thirty years with a repertoire that includes original and contemporary materials as well as traditional folk styles.
Presented by the Friends of Buttery Brook Park (www.butterybrookpark.org) and the South Hadley Family Center (www.shfamilycenter.org). This annual series provides local families and day care providers with free, high-quality, child-focused performances on Wednesday mornings throughout the month of July.
