South Hadley State Senate District
As a result of redistricting following the 2020 census South Hadley’s State Senate District changed with the 2022 state election cycle, and the town left the Hampshire, Franklin, and Worcester State Senate District to become part of the Hampden, Hampshire, and Worcester District. Senator Jake Oliveira was elected in November 2022 to represent the district, which includes Belchertown, East Longmeadow, Granby, Hampden, Longmeadow, Ludlow, Palmer, South Hadley, Warren, Wilbraham, and parts of Chicopee and Springfield. South Hadley remains in the First Congressional District. There was no change to South Hadley’s district for representation in the Massachusetts House.
